Crushed by a messy unrequited love, a young queer poet, through the confidence of their best friend and the truth of their art, finally reckons with their own emotional baggage (or, 'boulder'). The film oscillates between 16mm narrative compositions of everyday life and Super 8 montages which imagine the world of their poetry.
本片讲述了在中国人民解放军某战区的一场红蓝军事演习中，红军王牌特种作战小队“天虎突击队”在执行侦察任务时，陷入了蓝军设计好的陷阱，以狙击手栗剑为代表的6名精兵强将经过苦战才惊险逃脱……此刻，红蓝两军的正面战场已经全面打响，刚逃出重重包围的天虎突击队，接到了指挥部的绝密任务，突袭并破坏蓝军的无人化作战中心，但天虎突击队将要面对的是战斗经验极其丰富的蓝军特种部队……
这部电影以现实生活中的康复计划为背景，由包括前囚犯在内的多名演员出演，讲述了一个剧团通过创造性地上演一出戏剧，逃离了监禁的现实。
