生活在未来世界的女明星言茉意外患上罕见血液病，唯一能救她的人是生活在现代的天才科学家顾琰之。言茉为了获取顾琰之的血液穿越到现代，她处心竭虑地想要接近顾琰之，却发现若想取得合格血液，必须让顾琰之体内产生情感因子。然而言茉在“教导”顾琰之如何恋爱的过程中，却与他互生爱慕，因此改变了两人各自的命运进程，引发蝴蝶效应，导致二人生命都即将走到尽头。顾琰之和言茉试图挽回局面，当一切在时光回溯中重新来过，二人发现爱情和生命只可取其一时，他们又该何去何从。
